Wine country is one of our favorite places in the world. We never get tired of the rolling hills, vibrant wildflowers, hot air balloons at sunrise, and incredible food. Most importantly, it’s where we got engaged and spent some of our favorite days together. When it came time to choose where we’d begin this next chapter, there was nowhere that felt more like us.

Our dress code is Golden Hour Formal. You’ll find all the details, inspiration, and our color palette on our What to Wear page.

Late May is one of our favorite times of year in Sonoma. Expect warm, sunny days with daytime temperatures typically in the 70s, while evenings can cool into the 50s. Our ceremony and celebration will take place primarily outdoors, so we recommend bringing a layer for later in the evening.

Yes! But in our own unique way. We’re excited to incorporate Jewish traditions that honor our heritage while reimagining them in a way that reflects who we are and what we value. Think heartfelt moments, intentional symbolism, and a celebration grounded in love, family, and community.

We’re so glad you asked! Our wedding celebrates love and partnership, and you’ll hear us use a mix of language that feels true to us — words like spouses, partners, marriage, and celebration. We gently ask guests to avoid traditional titles like Mr. and Mrs.; we’ll be using Mx. and Mx. as our honorifics. Eli uses they/them pronouns. Ashley uses she/her and they/them interchangeably. We encourage everyone to avoid making assumptions about other guests’ pronouns and to help us create a celebration where all of our chosen family feel seen, respected, and loved.

Our host hotel is The Lodge at Sonoma — we hope as many people as possible join us there. We’ll also be gathering at The Lodge for our Welcome Party and Farewell Celebration. There are tons of incredible places to stay in wine country; more recommendations are on our Stay page.

The names on your Save the Date, and on your formal invitation when it arrives, are the people invited to celebrate with us! We’ve thoughtfully included the life partners and people who are especially important in your lives and ours, so we aren’t able to accommodate additional guests or +1s. We absolutely love your kids, but with the exception of our immediate family, we’re keeping the wedding adults-only. We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to enjoy a kid-free weekend in Sonoma! We’re so grateful for your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Accessibility is a core part of how we’re planning our wedding weekend. Our RSVP will include a place to share any accessibility needs, accommodations, dietary restrictions, or allergies so we can thoughtfully plan a celebration where everyone feels cared for. Our reception will also include a dedicated sensory space for anyone who would like a quiet place to step away and recharge.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. If you’d like to honor us with a gift, we’ve created a honeymoon and family planning fund, along with the opportunity to support several organizations meaningful to us.
